Our mission statement

Our mission statement

At the Lindenschule we live and work according to the following principles:

"Ways of learning and living together."

We work on an inclusive open all-day school in which the morning and afternoon sections work together.
The morning and afternoon staff work closely together at the Lindenschule.

The multi-professional team, consisting of the school management, the all-day coordinator, the teachers, the special needs teacher, the social pedagogues, the nursery school teachers, the inclusion specialists, the school social worker and other employees with different professions, forms a large, reliable network.

We focus on the needs of the individual child.
The diversity and differences of all members of our school community are accepted as a matter of course, seen as enrichment and used as an opportunity. At the Lindenschule, we learn and live together, and we place great value on promoting the community and social skills of our pupils with the aim that they accept themselves and respect others. At our school, we value respectful interaction between all members of the school community, a cheerful atmosphere conducive to learning and open and trusting cooperation. We focus on the needs of the individual child and create opportunities to challenge pupils with special talents and inclinations as well as opportunities for support and encouragement.

We have set out to introduceour pupils to the issues and problems of sustainable development.
Numerous activities in the context of sustainable education are now part of everyday school life. We also focus on the promotion of consistent language education and the promotion of responsible media skills.

We offer a comprehensive all-day concept that complements the curriculum.
The eight classrooms as well as the various differentiation and specialist rooms (art room, music room, large movement room, Snoezel room, research room, work room, language development room, school library), the teaching kitchen, the canteen, the play and meeting room and the meeting room are used by both the morning and afternoon teams at the Lindenschule. For all children who take part in the educational afternoon program at the Lindenschule, we offer a wide range of clubs. Overall, a close integration of lessons and extracurricular activities is important to us. For this reason, a working group has been set up that regularly works on concrete measures to implement the integration of the morning and afternoon activities.

As a Fairtrade School, we are committed to fairly traded products and regularly carry out various fair trade campaigns.

We maintain a diverse network with various cooperation partners.
The Lindenschule maintains a diverse network with various cooperation partners in the regional education network. There is also a supra-regional cooperation with a Dutch elementary school.

We are an educational institution whose employees all see themselves as learners among learners.
The Lindenschule's further education planning is based on the school's tasks and objectives and is set out in a further education concept.
