St. Nicholas himself made the long journey in the rain and wind to visit the children in Gronau. The joy was great!
The good man read from the golden book and knew a lot about the girls and boys. They sang and told stories together and all the first-graders were given a chocolate Santa Claus to say goodbye.
Pupils in Years 2, 3 and 4 and all adults naturally also received a treat made from fair trade chocolate on this special day.
