The pupils learned in a playful way that sometimes a little magic spell helps them to believe in their own strength and trust their own feelings:
"Bin, garbage can, open the lid, I have a 'no' feeling in my stomach. I don't want that! It doesn't have to be! So I'll throw it in with: No! No! No!"

Children and adults said goodbye to unpleasant experiences with the help of this saying by symbolically throwing the "no feelings" into a large garbage can. With a lot of imagination, childlike language and a song to sing along to, the teachers conveyed to the pupils that children should not be afraid of saying "no". The situations depicted were taken from everyday life, so they were familiar to the girls and boys. Corresponding picture cards also provided visual support so that all the children could recognize the situations and feelings.
The children should pay close attention to whether they have a yes or no feeling in their everyday lives and trust that their gut feeling can help them with their decisions. Of course, it was also discussed that sometimes there are rules that you don't feel like following and therefore have a "no" feeling, but that they should not disappear into the "no garbage can" because they are important for living together. For example, brushing teeth or adhering to the rules of togetherness were discussed.
We would like to thank the team from the Theaterpädagogische Werkstatt Osnabrück for this great morning and the Förderverein der Lindenschule, which once again covered the costs.
