The mixture of drama and music delighted the audience just as much as the magician's amazing performances.
The play "The Magical World of Mr. Alexander" invited the children to immerse themselves in the imaginative world of old fairs and variety shows. The exciting story of the legendary magician from Münster was told by the Pindakaas Saxophone Quartet together with the well-known Berlin actor Frank Dukowski. In addition to classical music by Robert Schumann, Claude Debussy, Antonín Dvořák, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Francis Poulenc, the four musicians also played songs by the Beatles and modern music.
The ensemble received great applause from the enthusiastic audience for this successful performance. The children talked about this wonderful experience for a long time.
