A rich and colorful buffet was set up everywhere in the classes for the breakfast break, which everyone enjoyed, and at 11:11 a.m. the cheerful crowd started with a long polonaise through the entire school building. In keeping with tradition, everyone finally met in the schoolyard, where Mr. Koch set the tone as DJ "Udo Lindenberg." The colorful company had formed a large trellis in the schoolyard and greeted the school's own carnival parade with great applause, admiring "Ahs" and "Ohs" and many "Lindenschul-Helaus".
Over the past few weeks, the children from the various GTG groups, together with the educational staff, had put a lot of dedication, effort and a good deal of love into making themed carnival floats. They proudly presented them to their classmates and all the adults. It was great to see what the children had created together with the educational staff!

There was a lot of dancing and singing and everyone was happy about the wonderful celebration.
Things really got going at the GTG after the end of lessons. The GTG staff had organized a wonderful carnival day with great commitment. There were many different activities for the children to choose from, such as face painting, disco, games of skill and much more. Ms. Tieke and her colleagues in the kitchen had also prepared a fantastic buffet.
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to making this day a very special experience for the children of the Lindenschule!
