While the first two lessons were still about lessons in the classes, cheerful carnival music rang through the corridors of the school from 11:00. In two large polonaise parades, the costumed crowd danced through the school building to finally line up in the schoolyard.
There, the carnival floats of the GTG groups were awaited by all those present with much anticipation and excitement. The two DJs, Ms. Wiedermann and Mr. Koch, provided the appropriate musical entertainment and the carnival got underway in high spirits. With loud applause and announcements by individual children, the GTG groups presented their magnificent floats in two rounds.
The individual GTG groups had once again managed to create beautiful and imaginative group floats. This year, the carnival floats were designed under particularly difficult conditions, as the wave of illness had hit both the children and the employees hard in the weeks beforehand. We are so proud of you, because every single float turned out really beautifully again! Many thanks to everyone who helped!
After some dancing in the schoolyard, the fun continued inside the building.
We wish all children and adults happy carnival days and are already looking forward to next year, when it will be Lindenschule-Helau again!
