In the theoretical part, the pupils first learned why healthy food is not only good for their own health, but also makes an important contribution to protecting the climate. The classes then went to the canteen, where the practical part took place. Ms. Benning had brought along a large selection of particularly suitable foods. Each child was able to put together their own personal fitness breakfast. The children prepared their own plates with a lot of joy and creativity - resulting in numerous colorful and delicious creations.
Many thanks to Ms. Benning for her commitment!
The Fitmacherfrühstück is one of several accompanying campaigns as part of the EU School Fruit and Vegetable Program in NRW. Thanks to this support program, our pupils are regularly supplied with fruit and vegetables. This fruit and vegetables are prepared by dedicated parents who meet here at school in the morning and cut the fruit and vegetables together in a small, cozy group. Without the help of these parents, it would not be possible to implement the program at our school. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank the "fruit and vegetable parents" once again for their support!
