EXCURSION

Class trip of 2a and 2b to Rheine Nature Zoo

Even the journey to the zoo was a small highlight: a comfortable double-decker coach took us smoothly and with much anticipation to the zoo.

The weather was at its best - in bright sunshine, the children were able to observe the animals in a natural environment. After the first exciting animal sightings, everyone enjoyed a hearty breakfast in the open air.

The visit to the Barbary macaques' outdoor enclosure was a special experience. Here, the children were able to observe the animals without any separating bars or windows - an unforgettable moment for our pupils.

At the end of the day, both classes met at the large adventure playground. Here they romped, played and laughed once again before heading back home.

An all-round successful excursion that will certainly be remembered by all those involved for a long time to come.
