The Lindenschule entered four teams this year. The 1st grade boys under their "coach" Mr. Beier were proud to have taken part and to be able to take home a medal.
The tournament was somewhat unfortunate for the 3rd grade boys. After good performances with only one defeat against the eventual winners Martin Luther School, the team was in third place for a long time, only to finish fourth at the very end and narrowly miss out on a place in the cup.
The 4th grade boys played at eye level, but missed out on the semi-finals and were delighted with their medal in the end.
The 4th grade girls came through the tournament unbeaten. After three draws in the preliminary round, it was unfortunately just not enough to reach the semi-finals, resulting in a good fifth place in the end.
The teams would like to thank the numerous fans of the Lindenschule, who created a great atmosphere with self-painted posters and loudly supported the athletes.
The Lindenschule would like to thank Fortuna Gronau and Stadtwerke Gronau for the excellent organization of the tournament. We are already looking forward to the next Primary School Cup!
