One of these is the FAIR AFTERNOON DAY, which was held on Friday, September 13, 2024 on Kurt-Schumacher-Platz. The FAIRTRADE AG of the Lindenschule also actively participated in the FAIR AFTERNOON DAY.
The children from the working group summarize the afternoon as follows:
"On the fair afternoon, we presented our game "Labelchaos". And the game goes like this: The children or adults are given a question or task about the labels, then they have to run a course or do a sack race to decide on a label.
We led the game and practiced it with our classmates at the Lindenschule. At the FAIR AFTERNOON, some children just wanted to do a sack race. We particularly liked the fact that GTG 4 and some Lindenschule children visited us at the festival and that we were able to visit the FAIR KITAS stands. Riding the electric train was great fun. We painted fair cotton bags, made hats and calculated our ecological footprint. It was a really nice day for us."
We are proud of our pupils who are committed to the important topics of fair and sustainable trade and would like to thank Ms. Neumann, Mr. Beier and Mr. Koch for their competent guidance of the children.
