The SchulKinoWochen are a nationwide film education project. During this period, school classes can attend selected film screenings in cinemas near them at reduced admission prices. The aim of the project is to teach children and young people film skills and to make the cinema an important place for cultural education.
In good spirits, the children and their teachers went to the cinema in the city center on each day and enjoyed a special morning outside the classroom.
Pupils in years 1, 2 and 3 watched the movie "Tafiti - Off through the desert". The story was or will be read in class during the daily reading time.
Year 4 attended the performance of "The Flying Classroom". Here, too, the plot was taken up in class and reflected on together.
For many children at our school, going to the movies is not a matter of course. This makes it all the more important for us that all pupils can enjoy this experience together.
Many thanks to our sponsoring association, which generously supported the campaign by covering part of the costs.
All in all, it was a great event that we will all remember for a long time to come.
