Michael Wanning, senior detective inspector from the Borken district police department, accepted the school's invitation to conduct the program on preventing dangers on the Internet. Michael Wanning is responsible for the prevention of child and youth crime at the Borken Criminal Investigation Department for Prevention and Victim Protection. He was supported at the event by police chief inspector Friedhelm Meyer.
Among other things, the interested pupils learned a lot about how to deal with chats on the Internet, cyberbullying, online challenges, the right to one's own image and cyber-grooming. The program therefore covered numerous topics that most pupils will come into contact with in the future or may already have come into contact with. Mr. Wanning took a lot of time during the event to answer the children's questions in a patient and friendly manner.

We would like to thank Mr. Wanning and Mr. Meyer for their dedicated support in promoting the safety of our pupils.
