Preparations for this are in full swing.
On Wednesday, 30.10.2024, the first classes at Lindenschule were very busy. Numerous parents came to classes 1a and 1b on this day to make lanterns with the children for our lantern festival.
There was a lot for the busy hands to do: First, the polar bears and owls were cut out. Then large openings were made in the middle, which were later covered with transparent paper. Of course, the details had to be included too: Head, feet and scarf for the polar bear, eyes, beak and feathers for the owl. Finally, holes had to be punched out to attach the wire for the lantern pole.
During the crafting session, the right mood for the lantern festival was already created by the autumn and Martinmas songs. Everyone is looking forward to shining their beautiful lanterns.
Many thanks to the parents, with whose help all the children's lanterns were ready on time.
