Lindenschule's Safety Plan
Protect, Empower, and Take Children Seriously
The Lindenschule aims to be a place where children can learn safely, feel comfortable, and develop their personalities. Protecting the children entrusted to our care from physical, emotional, and sexual abuse is therefore an important part of our school’s mission.
Our school has a safety plan to prevent violence and sexual abuse. It provides all staff members with guidance and clarity on how to act, and helps us identify risks early on, prevent boundary violations, and respond responsibly when there are indications of a potential threat.
The key components of our safety plan are:
- a shared commitment to respectful and boundary-respecting interactions,
- binding guidelines for employee conduct,
- Prevention and Empowerment of Children,
- student participation and involvement,
- reliable points of contact and channels for filing complaints, as well as
- clear guidelines for situations in which a child's safety might be at risk.
We view child protection as a shared responsibility of the school, the children, and their parents or guardians. We take all reports and concerns seriously. At the same time, we regularly develop and review our child protection policy to ensure that child protection is reliably implemented in the day-to-day life of the school.
Together, we share the responsibility for creating a school where children are safe and can grow strong.
