farewell

A touching farewell to elementary school

The students in classes 4a and 4b were bid farewell from elementary school with a varied and festive celebration. Hanna (4b) and Leon (4a) confidently and skillfully hosted the various parts of the program, ensuring that everything went smoothly.

The students in Class 4b kicked off the event themselves. Their rousing drum performance earned a round of enthusiastic applause. As the event continued, many children showcased their diverse talents: dances set to modern music, singing performances, acrobatic displays, and an entertaining mini-play provided many wonderful moments. Particularly impressive were the confident performances of the students, who took the stage with great enthusiasm and joy.

A special part of the program was the presentation of gifts by representatives from each class. In this way, the other children thanked the “older students” for the time they had spent together and wished them all the best for the future.

To conclude the ceremony, the school administration addressed the fourth-graders once again with a few personal words. The students in classes 4a and 4b walked through a colorful guard of honor formed by classes 3a and 3b, bidding farewell to their elementary school years. As they did so, everyone else in attendance, led by Ms. Guth-Albermann and Mr. Koch, sang the song “Gib mir deine Hand” (“Give Me Your Hand”), which made for a particularly emotional finale.

We wish all the students in classes 4a and 4b a successful start at their new schools and all the best for the future!

We wish all the children and adults at Lindenschule a relaxing, happy, and healthy vacation!
