We started with the coatis. The animals searched the grass for small animals to eat. We continued past flamingos and bactrian camels into the monkey forest. Here we first had to prepare ourselves well and put all our bags and objects outside. The monkeys like to grab their visitors' possessions.
We continued through the aviary. There, sicklers and spoonbills were busy searching for food in the marshland with their impressive beaks.

There was great joy at the petting zoo. The pupils from Lindenschule made contact with the goats peacefully and carefully and they were happy to be groomed and stroked.
A special highlight was the feeding of the seals at 11 am. The animals dashed through the pool at high speed to catch the fish and jump through rings.
After so many exciting encounters, everyone was able to let off steam in the large playground before taking the bus back to Gronau.
