The event kicked off at 10:30 a.m. in the packed Bürgerhalle with a powerful song by singer Alma Naidu and saxophonist Jakob Manz. Together with their band, they brought the hall to life. With her wonderfully clear and gentle voice, the Munich native sang her way into the hearts of the young audience. Alternating with the virtuoso sounds of the saxophone, she created a very special, energetic sound. The show continued with a song in which the musician sang about a mountain from her homeland. With a powerful and archaic voice, she began with a mystical melody that seemed to come from a bygone era.
This was followed by songs that the children could sing, clap and dance along to. Alma Naidu successfully encouraged them to do this again and again.

A pupil from class 4a and a pupil from class 4b from the Lindenschule also made a special appearance this year: as participants in the Kulturstrolche, they skilfully interviewed the musicians on the big stage. The audience learned that Naidu and Manz gave their first concerts in front of an audience when they were just five years old. The long final applause showed that the Linden children enjoyed the concert.
