For the presentation, Ms. Bakker and Mr. Hedderich, along with Mayor Jörg von Borczyskowski, visited the children in their classrooms. There, the lunchboxes were personally handed out to the girls and boys. The students were very happy about the wonderful surprise.
Afterward, the children asked the special guests many questions and showed great interest in the topics of healthy breakfasts and balanced nutrition. For example, the first-graders learned some interesting facts about where milk comes from.
Through this school initiative, the Söbbeke organic dairy aims to promote the importance of healthy eating among even the youngest children. The practical lunchboxes are designed to encourage children to continue bringing a healthy breakfast to school in the future.
