As part of the campaign, the pupils visited a participating local bookshop.
An exciting quiz awaited the fourth graders on site. With a lot of motivation and curiosity, they put their knowledge to the test. Afterwards, they were able to receive a free copy of this year's World Day book "The Flying Class Scooter" on presentation of a class voucher, which everyone was very happy about.
This special book donation is made possible by the commitment of the book trade and numerous partners from the cultural and educational sectors.
The visit to the local bookshop was a real highlight for the children: browsing through the bookshelves, getting to know a bookshop from the inside and finally being given a book of their own - all this made them want to read and curious about new stories.
A big thank you to the bookshop for preparing this special day for the children and a big thank you to everyone involved in making the book giveaway for the primary school children possible.
