Little researchers make it big - the children in class 1a discover capillary force

After the children were introduced to research through a demonstration experiment last week, they put their first experiment into practice this week with a great deal of curiosity and enthusiasm.
The pupils used two cups of water, kitchen roll and various colors. The kitchen roll was hung in the cups so that the water could slowly move from one cup to the other. The children watched with fascination as the paint moved through the kitchen roll and gradually created a colorful sequence.

The pupils were very enthusiastic and focused on their work. They were amazed at their observations, asked questions and shared their ideas with each other.

The children were particularly proud to record their findings in their own research sheet. They documented their observations with drawings and initial explanations.

This turned the initial research into an all-round successful experience.
